Solar power kits

Solar power kits can be purchased for a virtually endless list of applications. Buying a system as a kit is sometimes a more economical method than is purchasing all of the parts separately. Most solar supply outlets will carry packages of varying complexity and expense.

For residential applications, there are many benefits to installing solar power kits. Many people will use these systems to either reduce their heating and cooling costs, or as a means of completely disconnecting from the electrical grid. These kits are also useful for cabins and vacation homes as a means of maintaining basic home functions without having to leave the electricity on.

Modern technology has given rise to transportable solar power kits. These systems are most often used for RV and bus conversions as a means of powering televisions and other electronic devices commonly found in these vehicles. Smaller solar kits can be attached to items like backpacks and briefcases, and used to charge small devices like cell phones and mp3 players.
